Toughened laminated glass awnings and pergolas from SBF INTERIORS AND OUTDOOR SOLUTIONS LIMITED offer unmatched safety, weather protection, and durability. The toughened (tempered) glass provides structural strength against wind and impacts, while the laminated interlayer ensures that if the glass breaks, the shattered pieces remain safely stuck to the plastic film rather than falling on people below.

Choosing the right thickness (8mm, 10mm, or 12mm) allows you to tailor your awning to your specific span and structural needs:

12mm Toughened Laminated Glass: Engineered for large-scale commercial, retail, or premium architectural installations. It provides extreme rigidity, making it ideal for wide, sweeping canopies that endure high wind loads.

8mm Toughened Laminated Glass: Best for smaller, residential awnings or sliding window coverings. It provides excellent safety and UV protection at a lower weight and cost. Ideal when the awning doesn’t require spanning wide open spaces.

10mm Toughened Laminated Glass: The “sweet spot” for most residential and commercial projects. It supports wider spans for doorways, patios, and balconies. It offers heavy-duty impact resistance against hail and falling debris without being excessively heavy on the mounting brackets.
